The leaders of the Arab Mahreb agreed to hold a summit in the Maghreb during the year, President Mohamed Marzouki announced Sunday evening in Algiers, APS reports.

The summit will be "serious" and its results "palpable" for the peoples of the region, said the Tunisian president in a press conference at the El Mithaq residence.
He added that the meeting will probably be held in Tunisia "after the dossiers being examined by the States"at the highest level "bringing a real value and not to overwhelm our people by convening meetings for form."
The Tunisian president arrived Sunday morning in Algiers for a two-day official visit at the head of an important ministerial delegation as part of the "strengthening dialogue and consultation between the two countries".
