Egypt: Islamist led Assembly dissolution confirmed.

President Mohamed Morsi had attempted to restore the Assembly on his inauguration as President. Whilst most Islamists are contestingthe ruling secular leaders such as Amr Moussa head of the new Egyptian Conference Party  said the law must be respected. He stressed  the importance of uniting the country's secular forces so as to capture a larger share of parliamentary seats in upcoming polls.

Mohamed EL Baredei head of the Constitution Party said ""The verdict that confirmed the dissolution of parliament is a first step for those in power to understand that legislation is the main pillar for building the country," ElBaradei declared. "A balanced Constituent Assembly [tasked with drafting the new constitution] is the second step of that process."
