Given the growing interest in Islamic finance among financial actors, an international conference on finance was clearly needed. Thus, it is the economic capital, Casablanca, which has the privilege of hosting the international conference of Islamic finance on Thursday, November 29, 2012.

The principles of Islamic finance involve a more moral and ethicical emphasis. It is also a response to a request from more important clients for Muslim research ethics and a finance which is compatible with their faith. The share of Islamic finance in the global financial market is still small, but it is now experiencing explosive growth, highlighted by the media.
The conference will be hosted by insurers, financial experts, bankers and heads of financial institutions who are from the countries which are already interested or who are actively engaged in Islamic finance, such as Tunisia, the UAE, Malaysia, Bahrain, and also in European countries such as France and Luxembourg.
In order to catch up in this area, the Moroccan Government is implementing measures to install a legal framework for Islamic finance which is consistent and adequate enough to accommodate the financal services.
